The Outbound Sales Representative will be primarily responsible for lead management including qualification, assignment, and tracking. Additionally, this role will also spend time making outbound sales calls and promotion follow-ups to potential customers. $21.00-$29.50 per hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Process new account requests and follow up on applicably categorized accounts.
  • Outbound call campaigns.
  • Follow up on marketing generated leads (campaigns, etc.) on new and existing non-managed accounts.
  • Run regular data audits on marketing database.
  • Ensure standardized data-entry and naming conventions are utilized.
  • Entering leads into company CRM and updating throughout the vetting and selling process.
  • Ensure all information being entered is correct and validated (email validation, etc.).
  • Keep database organized and clean from unresponsive and invalid contacts.
  • When applicable, pass along and track progress of leads to sales staff.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
  • Reaching out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.

  • 3+ years working in a sales or customer facing retail position
  • 2+ years working with sales contact databases and/or CRM
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Must be customer oriented and motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty timely and accurately.
  • Problem solving and organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other sales support tools
  • Strong computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and to recommend the proper course of action.
  • Ability to work effectively independently.
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience’s needs.
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information to managers and sales staff.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform mathematical calculations required to accurately complete assigned tasks.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to collect and organize data. Ability to use sound judgment and problem- solving skills.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.

Attendance is required Monday through Friday 6:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. or within normal business hours as established by the supervisor. Employee may be required to work overtime, and occasional weekends.

  • Located mostly in an office environment with some exposure to a warehouse environment.
