Key Responsibilities:
Research: Stay current on trends, new techniques, and resources in graphic and print design, as well as novelty executions. Identify relevant trends for each season and present new Color & Concept ideas.
Allover Prints/CAD design and development: Create artwork (print and logo), developing multiple colorways. Size artwork based on styles, as placement is key. Execute prints and graphics to be ready for factory and suppliers (color separating, repeating, technique, and color pitch) using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Follow artwork from initial development to bulk, making updates as needed.
Communication: Track print development and comment on samples and strike-offs in a timely manner for correct execution. Communicate with development team, production, and factories to stay abreast and develop new techniques.
Professional Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors- preferably in Print Design/Graphic Design
Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
3+ years previous work experience
Demonstrated capability and knowledge of varied constructions spanning ALL categories
Familiarity with the development process and working with overseas factories and vendors
Fashion savvy with the critical ability to identify and interpret commercially viable trends
Accurate attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to take independent action to follow through on open items and issue resolution to completion
