Job Title: Application Developer I

Job Summary:

The Application Developer will be involved in the development and maintenance of software and internet applications.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, build, document, and repair existing software systems and/or applications.
  • Contribute to the entire development life cycle, including requirement analysis and design.
  • Support, sustain, and document software functionality.
  • Analyze code to find causes of errors and revise programs, as needed.
  • Consult with stakeholders to model, polish, test, and repair programs to meet requirements.

  • Primary programming language (Java, .NET C#/VB, Python, etc.)
  • Relational database development (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL)
  • Database design and performance optimization
  • Object Relational Models (ORMs) (Entity Framework, Hibernate)
  • Dependency Injection (Spring, Unity, Ninject)
  • Follow coding standards and best practices.
  • Modern UI/UX (i.e., Angular, React, XAML)
  • Automated unit tests
  • Up to 10% travel may be required


Education: Bachelor’s degree in technical field or equivalent work experience

Experience: 1-2 years of experience

Supervision: N/A, provide minimal training and guidance for new team members

Certifications: Dependent on specific product developer is assigned to

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
