What are the best communication and collaboration processes to include in your incident recovery plan?
Please stop telling companies to create communication templates — they stick out like a robotic sore thumb during moments when the impacted individuals need empathy & personal concern. Instead of templates, define in advance what values you want demonstrated in your communications & consider creating a RACI outlining who will be part of the process to decide what to say & with what cadence. Bad communications usually result from too many cooks in the kitchen.
