In the year ended 31 December 2023, our sustainable agriculture programme supported 367,000 acres of corn via the partnership - this acreage is equivalent to the corn we buy globally each year. The Truterra carbon program has had a significant impact, with $21 million paid to farmers over the past three years. In 2023, the total acres enrolled increased by 99% compared to 2022, which saw a 151% increase from 2021. This consistent growth presents immediate opportunities for companies in the food, fuel, fiber, and feed sectors to engage with the Truterra network. By doing so, they can work to reduce farmgate emissions associated with crop production and contribute to building more resilient supply chains.
