📢Capturing the Excitement of the SUPERSTART Booth at #NextRise2024! NextRise (넥스트라이즈) 2024 was held in Seoul from June 13 to 14. 10 startups from the SUPERSTART Incubator's second cohort, currently undergoing SUPERSTART Agora, PoC processes with acceleration activities at the LG Group level, also participated! On December 5th, the SUPERSTART Alumni Day was held at LG Sciencepark, where alumni companies gathered to share their achievements. The event celebrated startups graduating from this year's SUPERSTART LAB and welcomed newly selected companies🎉 The LG Group's open innovation platform, SUPERSTART, through its in-house nurturing program, SUPERSTART Incubator, offers startups a dedicated space (SUPERSTART LAB) to focus solely on their business without the worry of rent. It also provides substantial and diverse support including business model validation (SUPERSTART PoC), collaboration with LG companies, and advice from LG employees (SUPERSTART Crew). Companies such as the first cohort of the SUPERSTART Incubator, 'Ujura Company,' an AIoT-based pet-tech startup, and 'Meissa Planet,' a satellite imagery data analysis platform company, have achieved significant results, including service and technology development collaboration, as well as service provision with relevant LG companies💪 Since 2018, LG Sciencepark has supported around 40 startups through OPEN LAB and LG CONNECT. The investment attracted by these nurtured startups from enterprises and venture capital firms amounts to more than 90 million dollars. Particularly, since the launch of the group-level platform in June last year, the supported startups have attracted a total investment of 38 million dollars over about a year and a half, demonstrating SUPERSTART's expanding foothold in the startup industry. The President of LG Sciencepark (I.P. Park) remarked, "Innovation is born when new ideas meet and connect. We are committed to expanding the interface between startups and LG, freely implementing ideas that emerge from this collaboration to create a better future for everyone."
