Did you know that politeness can actually improve your AI interactions? 🤖 We’ve been conditioned to treat AI like a cold, unfeeling machine, but a recent study suggests that politeness and respect can significantly impact the performance of language models like ChatGPT. 💡 The research tested multiple chatbots across languages and found that impolite prompts led to worse outcomes—more mistakes, stronger biases, and even omitted information. So, next time you’re crafting a prompt, remember: Respect matters. Not just in human interactions but in AI as well. It’s not just about getting the right answer; it’s about how you ask the question. Ready to test this theory? Try it out and let us know if you see a difference! #TechnoGals #AI #ChatGPT #PromptEngineering #RespectMatters

🌟 Recognizing the Recognized: How Do You Find Out What Your Team Values? 🌟 In a world where keeping good talent is more important than ever, recognition has been top of mind for me lately. It's not just about saying "good job"—it's about understanding how each individual prefers to be acknowledged for their hard work. After all, a recognition that resonates can be a game-changer in motivation and retention. But here’s the catch: recognition isn’t one-size-fits-all. Some thrive on public praise, while others prefer a quiet "thank you." Some might value a tangible reward, and others appreciate a chance to lead a new project. So how do we, as leaders, identify the best way to recognize our team members? #TechnoGals #Recognition #Leadership

We’re sharing some wonderful reminders and self reflections. #7 resonated with me today. We’ve often shared our struggles with conferences or networking events, and how we’ve had to train ourselves to succeed in these scenarios. One reason why is that these events feel so singular faceted. It’s almost of broken record of “What do you do?” And then you explain your title and role over and over again. It’s always felt minimizing to think about the importance of my life through just a work lens. Maybe at these types of events, we need signs that say, “I’d like to talk about dogs” 🐶 or “travel” ✈️🏖️ or “chickens”🐓and then you can find your people faster and establish that human connection first. Just a suggestion. 🧐🤷🏼♀️ We’d love to hear from you! Which one speaks to you the most today and why.

7 pieces of workplace wisdom: 1. Relationships, especially the ones you have with your children, will always matter more than fancy cars and luxury watches. 2. Everyone is fighting some kind of battle at all times. Be empathetic, and don’t push them hard without understanding their perspective. 3. Simple words help you communicate better. Use them when speaking and writing emails, and fewer mistakes will be made.  4. Single-tasking works better than multitasking. Try to only focus on one thing at a time. If you have multiple projects, break them into time blocks. 5. Most managers push and pull, mostly motivating with force. The best ones provide guidance, vision, and support for their entire team. 6. The people you spend your time with in and out of work will define your future. Be careful about who you let into your circle. 7. You need more than just work to define you. Build sources of joy in life that have nothing to do with where you get your paycheck. Which of those do you agree with most? Source: milanicreative on Instagram

One of the best parts with growing older is learning to accept ourselves, quirks and all, and having the confidence that comes with no longer feeling the need to apologize for those quirks. Aging minimizes those pressures and demands to fit it or be everything to everyone and to embrace the things that make us unique—the habits, preferences, and idiosyncrasies. We long discussed in our podcasts that we're a little awkward - especially at random times in social settings. It's like we forget the socially accepted responses and etiquette and then freeze and blank out. In episode 10 we discuss a few of our "robotic" tendencies, plus some great 30-60-90 day pro tips for those starting at new roles or companies. Haven't had a chance to listen? Here's the links again. In the mean time, enjoy this clip of one of those random moments where Traci Gorman decided it was the right time to discuss a lawnmower. 🎙️ Spotify: https://lnkd.in/g6BuaGWX 📺 YouTube: https://lnkd.in/g6BuaGWX #beauthentic #vulnerable #aging #introvert
