A financial emergency can strike anywhere, any time. Yet, countless surveys show most Americans are not prepared to handle unexpected finances, such as a car repair or a medical bill. September is National Preparedness Month – a good time to look at our finances and see how we can better shore them up in case the unthinkable were to happen. Visit our Sunrise Banks blog to learn about how you can start to get your finances ready for an emergency, plus some of our tools you can use in that process: https://bit.ly/4etkFGz Member FDIC.

We are the most innovative bank empowering financial wellness. At Sunrise Banks, our success relies on the success of the communities we serve. We offer financially inclusive products that aim to better the lives of our clients in the Twin Cities Metro and beyond. The new school year is fast approaching! We have just 11 days left in our Back2School Supply drive at all Sunrise Banks branch locations. We want to make sure all kids and families are prepared for heading back to class without having to worry about not affording supplies. Now through August 31, you can bring in new supplies to any Sunrise Banks branch or our corporate offices in St. Paul. Supplies will be donated and distributed to nonprofits serving students in Minnesota and South Dakota. Look for the big boxes at each branch to drop off your donations. You can encourage customers, branch visitors, family, friends and business contacts to do the same! Member FDIC.

As part of our new Net Zero Banking program, Sunrise Banks is highlighting projects that are utilizing loans and other funding options to make energy efficient and other sustainable improvements. This week, we take you inside the 2441 Arts Building on University Avenue in St. Paul - down the block from our Sunrise Banks corporate offices. The former 1930s furniture showroom and warehouse still has many architectural features from the Art Deco era. But it has been updated with many sustainable features. such as energy efficient appliances, low-flow plumbing fixtures, and windows with high-efficiency glass. Crews will add a rooftop solar array later this summer. A back plaza will include a 7,000-gallon storage tank for rainwater buried underneath permeable pavers. 2441 Arts is utilizing several Net Zero financing options from Sunrise Banks. “I had tried to do carbon neutral projects several times, and I was never quite able to get there,” says Colin Oglesbay, owner of D/O Architects and manager of 2441 Arts. “But having tools like Net Zero Banking will make a lot more projects possible.” Learn more about Net Zero Banking on our Stories from Sunrise Blog: https://bit.ly/3WJcG0C Member FDIC.
