Austin Community College District (ACC) has been recognized yet again for its advanced work in the semiconductor manufacturing sector. The College was awarded special grant dollars from our partners at UT and TIE — all part of a grant from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). We're the only community college out of 18 partnering academic institutions to be selected for our robust suite of course offerings and advanced training in semiconductor manufacturing. Spectrum is welcoming another amazing team member! 🎉 Brianna Bradley has joined us as an Air Monitoring Data Analyst on the Installed Systems team, where she assists with data validation and analysis. She obtained her B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Dallas. Her undergraduate and postgraduate research focused on ATR-FTIR and computational chemistry. She is proficient in programming and has expertise with other analytical instruments, such as Raman spectroscopy and UV-Vis. Brianna is already hard at work validating client monitoring data and diving deep into the intricacies of #NuWave. We are so excited to have her on the team! 👏 #WelcometoSpectrum

Monitoring hydrogen cyanide is key to ensuring safety and compliance. Last month, we attended the American Chemistry Council Hydrogen Cyanide Industry Conference, where we had the chance to connect with industry experts and discuss key safety and monitoring issues. The conference covered topics ranging from HCN safety incidents, equipment commissioning, and hazardous reaction prevention. We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Stephen Thacker to Spectrum as a new member of our Installed Systems team. 👏 Stephen brings a wealth of expertise and experience, holding a PhD in Mathematics from the University of Houston and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama. His doctoral research in Applied Harmonic Analysis focused on minimizing reconstruction errors in image analysis, which perfectly aligns with our mission to push the boundaries of spectroscopic data validation and analysis. Stephen has already begun enhancing our data validation processes and advancing our proprietary spectroscopic and data management software, NuWave and Tsunami. His unique combination of skills in engineering and research will be vital to our ongoing efforts to deliver cutting-edge solutions to our clients.
