Despite a busy shift, she spent time with the patient listening, offering support, and showing extraordinary compassion during their difficult time. Realizing it was her patient's birthday, she went out of her way to purchase a slice of cake and a balloon and then gathered coworkers to sing happy birthday for them. 🎂 🎈 Hannah’s actions remind us of the difference a caring heart can make. We had a fantastic time hosting Leadership Lowndes Youth yesterday! 👏 They learned about the past, present, and future of SGMC Health from our President & CEO, Ronald Dean, and members of our leadership team. After a delicious breakfast courtesy of our remarkable Food Services department, they took a tour of our Simulation Lab. Through hands-on experience with our medical manikins, they learned about ultrasound technology, lumbar biopsies, intubation, and more!
