It can be so hard to think that we can actually change the education system because people have tried. Change is slow, so it's easy to let things stay the same. But education doesn't have to be what it is now or what it used to be. Empowered learners. Kids who love learning. Students finding their purpose. That's what education should be. When we homeschool or microschool or when we do something alternative, and we stick with it... we can bring education into the 21st century. And that's why we do what we do at Prenda. There is hope, and it starts with us as caring adults. We can change education for the better. Want to be a part of this mission? Learn more 👉 prenda.com

Meet Rinna. Rinna is a Prenda advanced guide who runs Harris Preparatory Microschool in Gilbert, Arizona, for 4th—6th graders. Having spent over 10 years teaching at her own Montessori preschool for children aged 3 to 6, Rinna switched to guiding for Prenda in 2020. This marks her 5th year as a Prenda guide, and she absolutely adores the personalized approach to education in microschooling. Seeing her students succeed brings her so much joy! On top of her passion for teaching, Rinna holds a bachelor's degree in information systems from Brigham Young University. She is a proud mom to seven children, two of whom are also part of the Prenda community. We're so grateful to have Rinna as a Prenda guide. She truly is making a real impact on young lives every day 💙
