You're needing a copywriter. A wordsmith. A pro with the pen (or keyboard, in this case). How do you determine who is one? Referrals? Maybe. But that's not a surefire solution. Tell me, how else do you determine who is a player in the copy world...or just a bench warmer? Samples of course. But how many times have you gotten the "here's a link to my portfolio and here are my rates" LinkedIn message or email? Those emails are great, and usually the samples are also great. Except for one thing... A small thing that you likely wouldn't have even noticed, had I not said something. The thing is...why? I imagine you asking why. "Why didn't this copywriter (aka salesman in print) sell me? Why did they just send a standard message?" I wonder that myself. Why would someone apply for a writing sales project and/or job...and NOT sell? That's where Maidencrab is different. For us, copywriting isn't even a job, or a profession.
