Since LinkedIn launched free verification for members last year, I’ve been sharing updates on how we’re progressing on our mission to help members better connect with real people, real jobs, and real companies. We started with identity verification to help you engage with real people. More recently, we added verification badges on job postings where the company is verified or the job poster has certain verifications. Today, we’re starting to roll out verification badges for LinkedIn Pages so you can more easily find the official Pages for an organization. A verification badge on a LinkedIn Page helps signal to members and customers that this is an official Page for your organization, and for those of you managing your company’s Page, it’s an opportunity to help showcase your Page’s authenticity and build trust.
