In these challenging times the need for strong leadership in America has never been more critical. Our nation stands at a pivotal moment, facing complex domestic and global issues that demand a leader who unites us and strengthens the role our country plays for the safety of the world. We have faced tough moments in the past, where leaders such as Presidents Lincoln, Truman, and Eisenhower guided us forward with common sense and pragmatism. Our best leaders strengthen the bonds that unite us. They address broader national interests without pandering to extremes. There are lessons from these leaders that our current candidates should embrace. Unity requires specific actions — actions I hope our next president will adopt. 1. Acknowledge Our Problems: We deserve a leader who explains our problems, encourages input from all sides, and shares plans and solutions. 2. Develop Policies that Reflect our Critical Place on the Globe: Policies should create equal opportunity, grow the economy, address national debt, maintain a strong military, control borders, strengthen social safety nets, and renew national pride while maintaining a smart, no-nonsense foreign policy. 3. Implement Smarter Policies: We need policies that provide protection, progress, and prosperity to all. 4. Build the Best Team: The president’s Cabinet and administration should reflect the entire nation, with expertise across the political spectrum. 5. Earn the Support of All Voters: Recognize that voters are different and have good reasons to think differently. Do not attack, instead engage. Like many of your families, my grandparents were immigrants who did not finish high school. They were drawn to the promise of this nation, which was then, and still is, the beacon of freedom for the world. I believe our nation is at a critical point in its 248-year history. We need to elect a president dedicated to the ideals that define and unite us, and who is committed to restoring our indispensable role in the world.

Lilly shares a few of her favorite snaps 📸 from her J.P. Morgan internship in Tokyo. 1️⃣ The first day of my internship in Tokyo! 2️⃣ It was always nice to catch up with my mentor to get her advice and share updates on my projects. 3️⃣ Induction week in Hong Kong was a great way to meet all my fellow interns. 4️⃣ During a volunteer event, my colleagues and I built a new bench for a local school. 5️⃣ This was my favorite team building event where we made soba noodles from scratch. Over the course of my internship, I’ve rotated around different desks and learned so much. I’ve loved getting to know my colleagues and making long-lasting connections.
