Jacqueline Samira's sales background is one of the reasons Howdy is such a success. We're glad Anushikha S. got so much from our CEO's appearance at the Y Combinator Female Founders Conference.
"Don’t do things because you are scared; do things that scare you." This powerful idea was inspired by the incredible talk by Ooshma Garg at Y Combinator Female Founders Conference. She was clear on her key ingredients for success: ➡ Persevere: Push through even when things get tough. ➡ Continuous learning: Always be iterating and learning. ➡ Clarity of vision: Keep your north star in sight. As she put it, "Everything I ever achieved I had to try for it 4-5 times." This relentless pursuit is exactly what she looks for in founders. It's about how you sustain and overcome really hard stuff. Jacqueline Samira's advice on savings and sales were also incredible: ➡ Sales rule 100 = 1: Keep on selling till you get that one conversion. Sales is a game of numbers. And don’t hire a salesperson. Be your own salesperson and sell your own prod yourself early on. ➡ Get finances in order: SAVE as much money as you can right now. Small bits count and compound. Tracy Young’s talk touched hearts. Her empathetic leadership style reflects in the lessons she shared. ➡ Care for people: Ask the people around you who you work with - and ask them are you okay? ➡ Care for yourself: Eat well, exercise well, sleep well - that is your biggest leverage. To be in a room with such exceptional people! 🧡

We're happy to hear Jacqueline Samira made such an impression at Y Combinator's Female Founders Conference. Thanks for the shout-out Ravali Bojja.
Attending the Y Combinator Female Founders Conference was truly inspiring and empowering! Being surrounded by talented and driven women highlighted the incredible impact we can make together. Tracy Young from TigerEye shared her journey with authenticity and resilience, reminding us that vulnerability and strength go hand in hand. Maddie Hall from Living Carbon impressed with her innovative approach to growing super trees for carbon removal, sparking hope for our future. Jacqueline Samira from Howdy.com delivered an outstanding presentation on overcoming risk aversion and late blooming, showing it's never too late to start something meaningful. Ooshma Garg from Gobble shared her success formula—grit, determination, and mission—along with the powerful advice: "Don't do things because you are scared; do things that scare you." While Reshma Khilnani from Medplum shared her inspiring story of persistence and vision, demonstrating the power of innovation and determination. Connecting with fellow founders and YC partners was invaluable. The energy in the room was electric, and I left feeling more inspired than ever to push boundaries and build something meaningful. Special thanks to Surbhi Sarna and Diana Hu for bringing together this incredible group of female founders. Here's to breaking barriers and shaping the future! 🚀🚀🚀 #YCFFC #WomenInTech #Entrepreneurship #Inspiration #BuildingTheFuture🚀🚀🚀
