HHPR was honored to celebrate the groundbreaking for a secure residential treatment facility (SRTF) in Salem alongside Scott Edwards Architecture and Community First Solutions. This facility will provide much needed mental and behavioral healthcare to some of our most vulnerable population groups. HHPR provided land use planning, surveying, civil engineering, landscape architecture, and natural resources services for this important community project.
Lincoln Street Apartments | Hillsboro, OR The Lincoln Street Apartments consists of a three-story 40,000 sq ft apartment building providing 35 new units in downtown Hillsboro. The project includes an interior courtyard on the second level, open breezeway access to all units, and garage parking. The building structure consists of two stories of light framed timber atop a reinforced concrete lid along with heavy timber accents at the stairs and breezeways. HHPR provided surveying, planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and structural engineering services on this project. Thanks to all whose effort and hard work made this a successful project!
Kennedy Elementary School Addition and Renovation | Salem-Keizer School District, OR Teaming with the DLR Group, HHPR provided civil engineering and landscape architecture design, permitting and construction administration services for this 17,500 square foot building addition and renovation project. The 10-acre site improvements included a covered play area, three asphalt parking lots, a bus drop off loop, playground and court upgrades, ADA compliance, pedestrian connections, stormwater management, and site utilities. Stormwater management was accomplished through 2 rain gardens providing water quality and detention. Public improvements include sidewalk and ADA ramp reconstruction, a new fire hydrant and site utility connections. Permitting was obtained through the City of Keizer and Marion County.
HHPR provided the civil engineering services for new learning center and gymnasium for the Washington Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth (CDHY) campus in Vancouver, Washington. It was such a special project to be included on! https://loom.ly/7rDvf9I

OR 99W: I-5 to SW McDonald Street | Washington County, OR A $41 million investment in safe, accessible travel on OR 99W. The project improvements increase safety and add connections for people who drive, bicycle, walk and use mobility devices. The project area begins where OR 99W (Pacific Highway) crosses Interstate 5 near SW 64th Avenue. It continues along Pacific Highway south to SW McDonald Street in Tigard. HHPR will create a fully connected sidewalk network in the corridor, smoother and safer road surface, increase bike lane connectivity, and reconstruct sidewalk curbs so they comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The project elements include new sidewalks, new bicycle lanes, highway paving, ADA upgrades, intersection improvements and bridge deck maintenance. The project is making progress! As of June 2024, we've built approximately 4,900 feet of new sidewalk, installed 100 new ADA-compliant curb ramps, built 15 retaining walls, and have completed mainline paving between Johnson and McDonald Streets.
