Amanda Hans-Ali began her career at NAPA Auto Parts as an Online Call Center Representative and has consistently demonstrated a commitment to customer satisfaction throughout her various roles over the past nine years. She was instrumental in the successful transition of the Customer Care team from IT to Store Operations, where she now excels as Process Manager. Amanda's dedication has been key in providing the Customer Care team with greater visibility and resources, ultimately enhancing the customer experience. “Amanda is the heartbeat of Customer Care. Ready for another trip down memory lane? In 1998, after years of working together, GPC acquired United Auto Parts, now known as UAP Inc.. This acquisition took GPC’s automotive business geographically into Canada and has continued to be fruitful and beneficial to the company. UAP was founded in 1926 by Charles E. Préfontaine in Montreal, Quebec and today is the leading distributor of automotive parts in Canada with 14 Distribution Centers and over 700 locations consisting of NAPA Auto Parts Stores, Heavy Vehicle Stores and Import Parts Facilities. This acquisition is a prime example of how GPC strategically expands its reach while prioritizing local expertise. Combining an international presence with a local approach allows us to reinforce our leadership position and benefit from both a solid distribution network and proximity to our communities in Canada. steve newton has dedicated 37 years to Motion, serving in multiple positions and currently excelling as a Technical Training Specialist. He leverages his extensive field experience and expertise as a hydraulic specialist in the Fluid Power Shop to educate and inspire the next generation of teammates. His impressive tenure is a testament to his deep knowledge, valuable contributions and strong relationships with colleagues. “Steve is a vital asset to our growing Learning and Development team.
