Hi! My name is Emma Ramsey and I am a recent graduate from Lewis & Clark College, where I earned a dual degree in Rhetoric and Media Studies and Philosophy. This summer I was lucky enough to get a spot as a #FordIntern with the Communications team as an Internal Comms intern, where I got to dip into numerous projects, and work with many different parts of the communications team to push Ford’s best practices forward. I’ve loved all the different events that I have been lucky enough to attend, but my most favorite has to be Michigan Central Station re-opening day. I was able to work directly with the news channels, and that hands on experience is something I will never forget! (and seeing Diana Ross live was absolutely amazing!!) Ford Motor Company welcomes Adriana Cisneros CEO of Cisneros Group, to our board of directors. “Adriana will be a wonderful addition to our board,” said Executive Chair Bill Ford. “She’s a CEO who has successfully modernized a family-led business by consistently thinking outside of the box and shattering conventions, experiences that are highly relevant as our team transforms Ford to compete and win in an exciting new era for the automotive industry.” Cisneros was elected in July and will serve on Ford board’s Nominating and Governance and Sustainability, Innovation and Policy committees. Cisneros was appointed CEO of Cisneros Group in 2013. Founded in 1929 in Venezuela by her grandfather Diego Cisneros as a material transport business, Cisneros Group has grown and diversified significantly over the past 95 years. Adriana Cisneros assumed leadership from her father, Gustavo Cisneros, and under her guidance the company has become a global leader in digital advertising, media and entertainment, and real estate. In addition to her longtime leadership of Cisneros Group, where she previously was vice chair and director of strategy, Cisneros has extensive board experience. She serves as a director of Mattel Inc., AST Spacemobile Inc. and the Paley Center for Media and as a trustee of the Knight Foundation, among other organizations. Cisneros is a passionate supporter of arts and education, actively involved in institutions such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York City and its Latin American Acquisitions Committee. Cisneros earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University. At Ford Credit, treating people like family extends beyond the workday. Our Canada National Sales Trainer Rick Gates and his wife were on their way to Emma Lake in Saskatchewan when they spotted a car with a flat tire on the side of the highway. The driver had forgotten her phone at home and couldn’t call for help. Rick offered to change the tire – but the spare was also flat. Rick is a resourceful guy. He used the Pro Power Onboard from his 2024 Ford F-150 to power the air compressor he keeps on hand – we said he was resourceful! – and the grateful driver was on her way. “I always think of my family,” Rick said. “If they got stuck on the side of the highway, I hope somebody would give them a hand.” We’re proud Rick is part of our Ford Credit family and hope he’s around if we ever need help. #WeAreFord #FordProPowerOnboard https://lnkd.in/g_teV_ws

I’m excited to share that I had the incredible opportunity to attend the media drive event for Ford Motor Company’s 2025 Ford Explorer!🛣️🛞 During the event, I road-tested the latest Explorer models on diverse terrains, tackled rugged off-road trails, and experienced the adrenaline rush on the autocross track alongside professional drivers. This event truly showcased the versatility and innovation of the new Explorer. Its blend of performance, technology, and design sets it apart. I was particularly impressed with the all-new redesigned interior, which includes a designated place for your cell phone (goodbye to cup holders occupied with phones) and the available Mojave Dusk interior—a stunning plum-like color. Discovering the “Easter eggs” hidden within the design of this car was also a blast! The Detroit and Chicago skylines pay homage to all the hard work that has gone into this vehicle, from Detroit all the way to the factory in Chicago. Additionally, the updated BlueCruise technology makes lane changes effortless. Such an amazing vehicle! BlueCruise hands-free highway driving is available for customers to use and enjoy across 17 countries globally, including the U.S., Canada and across Europe! 🌍 Following approval from the European Commission, BlueCruise can be used and activated across 15 European countries. This unlocks access to more than 82,744 miles of designated highways across Europe, called Blue Zones, allowing customers to take a road trip across multiple countries! There are more than 420,000 BlueCruise-equipped Ford and Lincoln vehicles on the road globally. Customers in the U.S. and Canada have also spent over 3.1 million hours enjoying and using BlueCruise and have driven more than 213 million miles hands-free.
