✈️🌍 Eve Air Mobility shares perspectives on eVTOL at the Airline Economics Juliana Rodrigues, our Head of Business Development for Europe, took part in the Advanced Air Mobility Panel at the Airline Economics in London this week. The panel, led by Marc Tembleque Vilalta (Avolon), included Nigel Leishman (LCI), Drew M. (AURA-AERO), and Marjan Schoeke (Vertical Aerospace).   The conversation covered recent industry progress and the role of leasing and financing in bringing urban air mobility closer to reality.   Juliana stated that leasing companies will play a pivotal role in the implementation of eVTOL operations, providing the financial flexibility and scalability needed to integrate this new technology into the urban space. "Eve has three leasing companies among its 30 customers, and we have been actively discussing eVTOL leasing models with them. Eve has reported its 2Q24 results, highlighting the latest #eVTOL program developments and milestones ✅ ✈ We presented our first full-scale, non-conforming prototype at the Farnborough International Airshow a couple of weeks ago, which will undergo several tests, including ground tests, hover tests, and partial and full transition to cruise flight. The uncrewed engineering vehicle will increase the team’s knowledge of physical phenomena and validate technical solutions, leading to more mature conforming prototype testing and certification. As we progress towards the testing phase, we have secured new equity of $95.6M from new and existing investors for the eVTOL development, improving our already comfortable cash position. Looking back on the fantastic week we had at #FIA2024! We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase our cabin mock-up with a virtual flight experience and unveil our first full-scale eVTOL prototype to the market, which will start a series of tests. Attendees could also use mixed reality technology to walk through the prototype in Gavião Peixoto, Brazil.
