In a recent interview, Howard Ting, CEO of Cyberhaven shared a thought-provoking perspective on the cybersecurity landscape. While most organizations pour their budgets into securing infrastructure—networks, devices, and the cloud. Howard argues that we're spending a lot to protect what's being rented while the real value lies in our data. Data, is after all the only asset with terminal value. 💡 Shift from infrastructure security to data centric security models: Just as homeowners insure their own properties, organizations should prioritize protecting their own data, rather than the rented infrastructure.
