Road Closure Update - In order to expedite the Bruce Road Reconstruction Project, the City plans on implementing a full closure to all vehicles, bicyclists and pedestrians from Banner Peak Dr. to State Route 32 beginning Monday, July 29th. Chico Fire Department has established unified command with Cal Fire Butte for the Park Fire that began in Upper Bidwell Park. The current evacuation warnings and orders are for areas outside of the City limits. There are no evacuation orders or warnings for Chico residences.
