I went to see Green Day last night in Boston, and I was surprised at how it's the perfect outing for old millennials and their gen z kids. "When I arrived at my seat, I saw that I had a mom with her late teens daughter on my left, and to my right I had a dad with his pre-teen son. There were also plenty of little kids running around rocking, including one with an epic mohawk." Read more at Business Insider #punk #greenday #saviorstour #millennial #genz https://lnkd.in/dbVkhQ8a

Did you know Pinterest can make you money? The platform has been around for many years, but Colorado-based entrepreneur Kenda Laney said that recently it's 'quietly exploded' among creators who have discovered how to leverage it as a tool to sell their services. The 23-year-old creator only takes an hour each week to schedule 10-15 posts a day, and it makes her roughly $30,000 a month. She said the app's searchability is much better for reaching your target online audience compared to platforms like Instagram and TikTok. As a result, users are more likely to purchase digital products and services from creators they find. "Think about it this way: do you want your content randomly shown to people who the algorithm thinks would like it, or shown to people who are already searching for what you're posting?" she said. Few prints are as emblematic as the Burberry check. For more than a century, the black, white, red, and tan plaid has represented a certain level of British sophistication and, more practically, a defense against even the worst wet weather. But earlier this summer, the cracks in fashion powerhouse Burberry's foundations became very apparent. In July, after reports that it was cutting hundreds of jobs, Burberry said sales had fallen 21% year-over-year in the first quarter and that it would suspend its dividend. On the heels of earnings, the company also announced it was ousting its CEO, Jonathan Akeroyd. Here's what went wrong at the British behemoth — and how it can fix itself: For Business Insider
How the British behemoth Burberry became fashion's biggest fail of the year
