You can now easily identify Aqara devices that are guaranteed to work seamlessly with Home Assistant, simplifying your smart home setup. As one of the early adopters of Matter, Aqara has been at the forefront of this new standard, which prioritizes local control and data privacy. With Matter, you can connect Aqara devices directly to Home Assistant using your existing Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or Thread networks—no cloud needed. Matter’s unique ability to operate across multiple ecosystems also means you can control our devices with Home Assistant while still using other platforms like Apple HomeKit or Google Home.
