A Lesson from an Unlikely Partnership Imagine discovering a rare artifact from the business world, something that could have changed the entire industry. That's exactly what happened recently when a prototype "Nintendo PlayStation" controller sold for a staggering $35,000! This unique piece of gaming history reminds us of a time when two giants, Nintendo and Sony, briefly collaborated on a console. The project ultimately failed, but the remaining prototypes serve as a valuable reminder of the potential impact of partnerships and innovation. St. Louis businesses can take a valuable lesson from this story: even unsuccessful ventures can hold hidden value and shape the future. Just like in the tech world, partnerships and innovation are key to staying ahead in today's competitive market. What do you think about this unusual piece of history and the lessons it holds for your business? #StLouisBusiness #Innovation #Partnerships #Nintendo #PlayStation #GamingHistory https://lnkd.in/gpGafaqC
Amicus IT, LLC
IT Services and IT Consulting
Keeping attorneys safe from cybercrime and lost time.
About us
David Phillips began his career in IT at The Walt Disney Company. In 1997 when he left Disney, he started Phillips Technology Services. Phillips Techs supported the entertainment industry in New York. After moving to St. Louis in 2010, Phillips Technology Services was renamed St. Louis IT Solutions and continued to grow in St. Louis. St. Louis IT began consulting small and mid-sized businesses. We found ourselves consulting law firms more than any other business. The feedback we received from our clients was that we were friendlier than the other IT companies they’ve worked with. Our technicians know how to relate to their employees and, importantly, we know how to support attorneys and their firms. Amicus Information Technology was born. We dedicated ourselves to supporting law practices and the professionals who work with them. Cybersecurity is incredibly important--that is the baseline. After we and our clients are confident that their systems and data are secure, we dig in to help them use technology to become more efficient. Whether the firm is implementing practice management software, time tracking, a document management system, or transitioning their practice to the cloud, as their trusted advisor, Amicus IT will advise and support them every step of the way. We support people, not computers.

Ever feel like you need an extra set of hands to keep up with your workload? Windows 11's split screen feature streamlines your multitasking, letting you manage multiple apps efficiently on one screen. No need for extra monitors or complicated setups! Picture this: reviewing contracts while referencing client notes, monitoring social media engagement alongside your CRM, or following a training video while taking notes - all on a single screen. Windows 11's intuitive 'Snap' feature makes this a breeze. Here's how it works: simply drag your app to the side or corner of your screen, or hover over the maximize button to choose from various layout options. Keyboard shortcuts (like Win + left/right arrow) offer even quicker snapping. Windows 11 will even suggest other apps to fill any remaining screen space, keeping your workflow organized.
