Yesterday was a great day! We were honored to be a part of this amazing first-of-its-kind event for Charlotte. The future is bright for the IDD Community!
Yesterday, we had the privilege of hosting the first-of-its-kind Abilities Employment Symposium in the Greater Charlotte area, alongside partner LIFESPAN Services and an incredible committee of like-minded organizations. Cakeable AllAbility Solutions KennedyStrong Foundation A Special Needs Plan Philips Academy of NC GiGi's Playhouse Charlotte Our collaborative team is incredibly proud to have provided this vocational skill-building and employment-specific opportunity to all students and individuals with diverse abilities who are eager to enhance their skills and connect with inclusive employers. While this event was initially planned as a pilot opportunity, we hope to continue offering it on an annual basis with the continued support of our community. Bank of America not only sponsored this event but also actively participated in its operation by conducting Mock Interviews, facilitating their adapted Grow Your Career workshop, and bringing along a full team of volunteers. Wrapping up 2023 and reflecting on what a year it has been! I am beyond proud of the evolution of AllAbility Recruiting to AllAbility Solutions, where we continually strive to "Leave No Ability Behind."
