Don’t be a purist; you don’t really need to establish a software architecture identical to clean architecture recommendations. Keep in mind that these are proposed in a very general way, and you have a very specific problem. Design the architecture taking the recommendations into account, but always thinking about what you truly need and the agility this approach gives you in terms of development. A micro-service-based architecture will provide the best of both worlds - stability and flexibility. The key here is to get the delineation between the micro-services right. By providing a robust interface (loose-coupling) between the micro-services, the architecture will be flexible-enough for future / unknown requirements. This will shield the "slow-moving" stable components from the "fast-moving" changes to the flexible components. It will also provide us a smaller focus area for rolling-out the new "flexible" features.

Continuous delivery has risks too. By doing smaller changes and deploying frequently errors can be caught and fixed easier. Every deployment has risk, and a tested, automated undo method is needed for each deployment.

Yes. And BEWARE. CD does not mean an automated pipeline. That is necessary, but nowhere near sufficient. For CD to have value, you must have a suite of automated tests at the unit, component, integration, and system level. Sounds like a tall order. It is, but worth the time learning and mastering this discipline. The reward is like nothing you've ever seen. And lucky us, GenAI can be used VERY effectively to make this happen with much less pain than before.

Another quite wide perspective if you ask me. Sure, automation for complex environments is a must, especially if you add security measures into the mix, but continuous delivery is also about skills and support team performance - which in many cases is just taken lightly. Every critical or important system requires similar "critical" service delivery model - therefore you cannot skip that part and relay simply on what is working right now if you plan new solution. That means resources, skills, access model, partner support and so on. Only then you can say you have continuous delivery in place - augmented by automation, maybe AI, and proper CI/CD or ITIL tools.

The latest Lean Product and Process Development (LPPD) book (Designing the Future, by Morgan & Liker) shares a starting point on this balancing between Fixed (Stability) vs Flexibility. As I interpret and apply it in recent cases, the chief engineer (or whoever is the chief system integrator) needs to clearly prioritize the customer appreciable values of the product/service. The more critical the feature, the more flexible we want to be, to create even greater value via innovation. Then depending on the risk to schedule and investment, the integrator needs to firmly fix in place. Buy as much risk margin as we can for the (few) critical features, be it time, investment dollars or human resources, by not doing all the rest.

Identify which technologies will be used, and which skills are and will be required as that changes (for analysis including traceability or requirements to technology-agnostic requirenents, development, testing, operations, maintenence, and eventual replacement).
