One thing i have learned in 15 years in logistics world is simplify the process of the existent chain. If you have the will to add some kind of system or control to make the operation better in first place you must look inside the current operation to identify if is worth or not to create a new on or simply change some traits of it to fit your operations needs. It is a prime rule to conquer your objective. First change inside accordingly then look foward to see from a distance if the necessary changes were already achieved.
