Stakeholder are like customers too, they have specific need about the product, which might profit or scale. If they see clear path to profitability and sustainability they will support the product team with all their effort. Best way to approach stakeholder alignment, is to understand the companies wild goals and object. This will allow product team to Shape their strategy and execution to suit the business need which align with the stakeholders interest. Prioritizing become easier because everyone understands the what the company want and what the stakeholders need. When approaching this, after ruthlessly Prioritizing my project, initiative or feature, an outcome roadmap is share with the stakeholders. This allow me to earn their trust.

The strategic and balanced approach, for prioritization can be achieved through the following actions: Align with Company and Product Goals: Stay aligned with the goals company and product, as well as the priorities of stakeholders, to identify the balance. Eu acredito que o PM de um produto que tem uma visão muito bem definida e difundida entre os membros e stakeholders tem mais facilidade de lidar com demandas concorrentes das partes interessadas e consegue encaixar inovação no seu produtos, pois fica mais fácil explicar a priorização e trazer dados para embasar as decisões. Se não saber exatamente o que nosso produto é, não é, faz, não faz fica mais difícil de argumentar e trazer dados que comprovam o motivo daquela feature não ser priorizada no momento, ou da feature não fazer parte do que o produto tem como missão.

This one is pretty strait-forward. First, this is a great thing! Your product must be providing value. To that point, having a clear understanding of how your product delivers business value (alignment to executive priorities) and a methodology for calculating impact (i.e RICE score) is imperative for prioritization. Implementation effort and go live dates should also be well understood and commitment from the requesting business lines needs to be captured and agreed upon. Last, confidence scores to deliver and number of dependencies/risks are two factors (there are more) that could change or influence prioritization above and beyond business impact.

Comunicação. Comunicacão. Comunicação. Essa é a chave para alinhar expectativas e manter o time e os stakeholders sempre no loop. Mas ela precisa ser constante. E com todos os outros times. Avalie o melhor meio para garantir que a mensagem chegue onde eles vejam. Inclua todos nas mensagens. Pode ser um ppt, um canal do slack (comigo funcionou super bem, pois permite mais diálogo). E prefira pecar em mandar em diversos lugares do que só se ater a um meio - nem todos os times fazem o uso das mesmas ferramentas como o seu.
