Establish routines on a weekly basis to have touch point with the members of the team and make a common agreement to use communication channels depending on the priority of the issue. For instance, for regular topics, use mails; and maybe for something that needs to be done or immediatly communicated use Teams or calls. The right use of technology is a tools , but it is not the answer to everything. Thus I recommend to work on schedules.
