Luckily had an oppertunity to work in a foam and plastic industry based company involving transportation semi finished products from Azad Kashmir / Lahore to Karachi Pakistan (roughly over 1500 kms) and local fleet meeting dealerships / general duty in entire province. Meticulois planning of entire transportaion plan from production units to cutting / packaging factory and further to dealer shops setting clear requirements, defining cruciality of their role, providing due initiative in grouping/de-grouping, selection of routes, unforeseen expenses enroute/ and letting team know as how much their role is important in running chain of operations, helped me in building a willing team and meeting our production goals efficiently.

Goals are to be set as a whole, subteam and down to individual and vehicle level. These are also set yearly. Monthly and week wise. So a team has a weekly goal contribiting to its yearly performance. Beside running for objective, we must be religeously following comprehensive preventive maintenance program, so as to ensure contineous and optimal availablility of our fleet.
