Record yourself.- I love recording myself, specifically my audio, so I can ask myself, “Would I listen to me and why should I?”

As someone who, 3 months ago, had not been on social media for years, I have started to embrace SEO optimization as a wonderfully challenging way of networking. Why challenging? Well, 3 months ago, I had no idea what "SEO" meant, and now I am trying to use LinkedIn and Twitter and just entering the YouTube world to help leverage my business. It's cheap advertising, and more importantly, it's a way of exploring ventures and opportunities that live outside of a "Google Search." I'm slowly learning how to make effective business posts, and the current challenge is keeping to a schedule to ensure I post appropriate content regularly to help my name, voice, and message be heard and disseminated to the decision-makers hiring speakers.

Having a clear vision and goals is critical. But so is having a daily process to implement them. Being able to make the best use of your time, especially when you spend a lot of your time on the road, it’s key. How are you handling emails and when? Which tasks are handled 1st? How do you work effectively when three projects all seem to hold the same weight? Every day, I know exactly what projects are most important for that week and that day, and I rotate the order in which I work on them if they are all of equal weight. I know which tasks that interrupt this work should be handled immediately and which ones can wait until the end of the day. Disorganization and lack of focus can really negatively impact your business.
