Your client doubts your expertise in Personal Coaching. How will you prove your value and credibility?

Asking them- what in their view are the qualities of a good coach? What value a coach has to bring to the table so they find them effective? When they answer these questions, they might bring up traits, behaviours they are looking for. Then you as a coach can share previous stories that demonstrate the traits or just display those behaviours in a demo session with that client.

A veces, es dificil demostrar algo a quien no quiere escuchar. Las decisiones tienen un camino de ida pero tambien de vuelta. Cuando alguien no hace caso a sus propias voces lo suele pagar. El cliente tiene la libertad de elegir a quien quiere y tambien tiene la libertad de equivocarse. Si se equivoca, el gran perdedor sera el, y no el coach en cuestion, que continuara con su gestion. When a client expresses doubts, I don't take it personally. I find it totally normal to have hesitations when it comes to investing in a coaching program. When it occurs, I take time to listen to their concerns and let them know I'm here to serve them and I have their best interests at heart.

Share testimonials, case studies, and quantifiable results from previous clients to showcase your experience and success. Explain your coaching methodology and how it is tailored to meet individual needs. Engage in an open dialogue, listen to their concerns, and offer a trial session or money-back guarantee. This approach demonstrates your expertise, builds trust, and allows clients to experience your coaching firsthand.

The bottom line is most clients want results so you must show them a range of results from previous clients.

I like to share success stories to let my clients know what's possible for them. They have to know they can achieve the same results. Sharing success stories is also a great way to give a sense of what it's like to work with me and the type of relationships I build with my clients.

It will help you become a specialist in the topics that are most relevant to your clients.Displaying certifications or degrees related to coaching on your website or social media profiles demonstrates commitment. Providing evidence, such as testimonials from satisfied clients and case studies showcasing positive outcomes, allows potential clients to see the real-life impact of your coaching.  These testimonials and case studies serve as social proof! It affirms that you have the knowledge and skills to make a positive difference in people’s lives.  Credibility takes time, effort, and consistency to build.

It is not only essential to stay updated with the latest coaching techniques and trends but it's also crucial to invest in your personal and professional development by hiring a coach yourself. I've personally worked with several coaches who have help me grow both personally and professionally in my coaching career. Also, my clients like to know i'm also coachable it helps build trust. How can you ask future clients to invest in your coaching program if you're not willing to invest in yourself as well?

The best way to dispel doubts is to addressed them and be fully transparent on your expertise and the results you can help your client to achieve. They have to feel safe enough to ask any questions they feel like asking to ensure a great coaching experience with you.
