How you treat your colleagues and agents in the field, even supporting services, lenders title companies, inspectors can really be a good support system if you nurture those relationships. Having these strong connections can make the difference in success and failure.

Networking Events are precious and a way to get your message heard. Learn the pain points of clients and craft a message that will be remembered and stick with the room's audience. Do not be shy about what you do. Networking is a great way to learn what others are doing. Always seek out someone to ask questions. Networking is also a good way to learn a little bit about yourself, your style, and your target market.

Having a great mentor is essential in this business- I’ve learned so much through mine, I recommend finding a team or very successful agent that offers training and experience and talking to a few of them to see who you can work well with and learning on the job, assisting or transaction co-coordination can really help hone the skills and knowledge. Every transaction is different and there is always something to learn. Thats one of my favorite aspects of the real estate business- it never gets boring, there is always something to learn and expand your growth, because it is ever changing. Be patient and absorb everything you can from those who are proven, don’t be afraid to ask questions and offer to help- knowledge/experience is currency.
