Initiative and timeliness are valuable, but producing high-quality customer-facing documentation is paramount for me when evaluating abilities and building trust. I can learn nearly everything I need to know about someone's skills by reviewing their technical documentation, how they write, and how well they tell the story to a customer in their documentation. Additionally, writing technical documentation is one of the best ways to expand your skillset.

The boss or supervisor should feel that you are willing to ; - learn - like changes and show interest to do things. That's the starting point. Prior preparation and going bit deeper in to issues, task or concerns will too earn respect from the supervisors. However most important will be the Attitude.

Totally agree! Taking the initiative before being told to take action also shows leadership, so if you’re looking to advance your career this is a great way that you can demonstrate your willingness to take action and lead!

Taking initiative to find out, and keep abreast of what your organization and immediate supervisor need for their success is the most important part. Then acting on that knowledge, to keep things from piling up on your boss goes a long way.

Something I have learned is that managers are not all the same and want to communicate, and be communicated to in different ways. Some don't want detail, some do. Some want regular/fluid updates, some periodic. Some want verbal breakdowns, some want written reports. Communication styles are personal and I think it is important to actively discuss and learn these styles to optimise communication. Ideally this is something both parties do consciously, but this isn't always possible.

Communication plays a big role in today and unclear , doubts will lead to unsatisfactory situations. Being open and transparent is a very important aspect. Its always better to communicate direct, ask the right question and also keep every thing visible to the supervisor. if not clear ,should not assume and must clear it as soon as possible. In that sense can earn trust which is very valuable.

As a leader, I value when my team members communicate their challenges openly, allowing me to provide the necessary support for their success. Remember, as a boss, my success is intertwined with the team's achievements. Therefore, don't hesitate to share your struggles, as it fosters a culture of empowerment and collective growth.

Before communicating. Know your audience, and that includes your direct manager. As a team member, you should be able to communicate effectively by laying out the message in the format and communication style preferences.Articulate the key message on your introduction or call it out and also offer solutions. Don’t just communicate issues or updates but offer solutions and add context and make the most of your managers time to seek endorsements or decisions.

Comunicação clara, objetiva e assertiva evita ruídos, diminui a chance de erros, melhora a sinergia da equipe e evita problemas com os clientes. Saber se comunicar e estar aberto a feedbacks é fundamental para evoluir no ambiente de trabalho.

Não há perfeição. Porém podemos estar sempre nos aperfeiçoando e como podemos fazer isso? Aprendendo com os nossos erros e com o erro dos outros e agregando tais conhecimentos aos nossos e assim desenvolvendo nossa maturidade intelectual e senso crítico e analítico para não repetir os mesmos erros.

Seja Responsável! A prestação de contas é um pilar da confiança. No gerenciamento de sistemas, isso significa assumir suas decisões e os resultados dessas decisões, sejam elas bem-sucedidas ou não. Squeaky wheel gets the oil. Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Alot of the times we feel we have to resolve all ourselves, but a good boss is there to facilitate and help you get your job done. Everyone and everything has a problem, just bringing up that problem is great, but a solution should follow. Take some time to study the problem, even in high stress environments, and devise multiple solutions, if there is a chance the first will fail. This way when you present the problem, your boss doesn't panic because they know you not only have a solution, you have a failsafe. If you impress yourself, your boss and everyone will follow. Work on you first, everyone will fall into place afterwards.

Do your homework. There is always more than one way to skin a cat as they say. Reach out to team members and profesional resources and forums when facing a problem. Try to bring multiple solutions or options. At the minimum some work arounds that might help while you deal with the larger issue at hand. That will show your commitment to solving the problem. This will also build up your confidence sonas to not drown in a glass of water. All problems have solutions.

Take that sales call from a vendor many times they will present you the latest technology for free all you have to do is listen. The present this back to your boss. Who knows is just might end up in your roadmap.
