You don't. If someone cannot speak up for themselves, they are the problem. I have been in business 30 years I have seen it all done it all and nothing surprises me anymore, but I am still amazed. People still want something for nothing. If you have value to contribute to a meeting speak up. Don't be rude pushy or inconsiderate to others but don't be a wallflower either waiting for other to recognize your value.
