What is the best way to discuss your career goals in Logistics Management with your boss?

In some cases, employees are not yet fully aware of what their strengths, weaknesses are or even what their interests are particularly as it relates to long-term aspirations. And in my experience, career paths are not always the obvious ones. That is why there is great value in regular, open and honest dialogue with your manager. In addition, employees must seek out feedback not only from your direct manager but also from other leaders within and beyond your organization. This way you have varying perspectives which could help facilitate setting your direction. Finally, embrace these opportunities to discuss your self, your career and the opportunities that lie ahead. They can and should be inspiring and motivating.

To me, the important aspect here is for the employee to understand what do they want in their career. Then, they can see where they are and they can think on ways to accomplish their goals
