For the third year, our London DE&I Committee hosted two work experience students from upReach, Haja Sam and Omkar Anjarlekar at our office in July. upReach helps students from across the UK realise their potential by delivering programmes of support. Through successful partnerships with top employers (such as Crowell & Moring) and universities, upReach offer students access to a comprehensive range of opportunities and activities to broaden their horizons, understand career pathways and develop the skills, networks and experiences needed for professional success. During their week at our London office, Haja and Omkar worked with teams from finance, corporate, restructuring & insolvency, derivatives, litigation, debt trading and business development to get a real flavour of what it is like to work at a global law firm! In addition, they had an opportunity to gain in-house legal experience with our client, SLB as well as to deliver a very impressive presentation to members of their in-house team at our office followed by a well-deserved lunch! It was great to meet and work with Haja and Omkar, and we wish them all the best and hope to see them again in the future! #dei #legalworkexperience #crowellmoringlondon
