Xentech Solutions Limited announces its latest additions to the Axtrinet™ range of Ethernet testers. Using a new generation of FPGA and a more accurate system clock, the APGV2 range of products includes new Ethernet speeds of 2.5Gbps and 5Gbps as well as providing a platform for supporting 25Gbps and 100Gbps in the future. Clock synchronisation and synchronised start inputs available on the V2 products gives the ability to connect multiple Axtrinet™ units together to increase the port count for testing larger devices. The enhanced timestamp resolution now allows timing accurate to 2.5ns. Keeping with the ethos of a low-cost, but effective solution for testing Ethernet products and systems, the Axtrinet™ testers offer simple and easy to use full wire rate Ethernet packet generation and reception. Ideally suited to the hardware engineer or manufacturing test engineer where ensuring lossless performance of the device under test is crucial to product quality.
