We’re thrilled to extend our partnership with Perth Airport and continue providing customers with travel money in and out of Western Australia 💰✈️🏧 Serving customers for more than 30 years at Perth Airport, we’re excited to share that we’re also expanding our presence, developing four new sites and three self-service locations across Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. We’re delighted to be working with Uber to offer customer discounts on rides and travel money cards in Australia and New Zealand 🚖🤝💳 Customers purchasing travel money from a Travelex bureau in Australia and New Zealand this July and August will be eligible for 50% off their next first ride (up to $50) if they are a new Uber rider, or 25% discount on their next Uber Reserve ride (up to $25) if they are an existing rider.  Travellers who Uber to an airport where Travelex operates (Adelaide, Brisbane, Cairns and Perth in Australia and Auckland, Christchurch and Queenstown in New Zealand) will also have access to an exclusive discount on the Travelex Money Card (minimum $500 spend) when purchasing or re-loading.  Our Managing Director for ANZ, Darren Brown said: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Uber on the latest milestone in Travelex’s investment in digital travel experiences. Exciting developments in the African market for Travelex! 🌍   We're seeing a strong demand for efficient currency solutions driven by tourism, cross-border trade, and economic factors. Despite the rise of mobile payments, cash transactions, particularly in US dollars, remain dominant in international trade and tourism. Cameron Hume (何穆凯), our Global Wholesale Director, recently spoke to CNBC Africa about the foreign exchange trends in Africa. We’ve added a further seven currencies to our pre-paid currency card, the Travelex Money Card (TMC), powered by Mastercard! 🎉 Now customers in the UK can upload and spend Norwegian Krone, Danish Krone, Icelandic Krona, Hungarian Forint, Thai Baht, Hong Kong Dollar and Singapore Dollar on their TMC, taking the total number of currencies available to 22. This expansion meets growing demand for Asian currencies as travel continues to rebound in the region post-pandemic. It’s also the latest milestone in our digital transformation journey, including innovations like our self-service digital kiosk at Heathrow and the ATM click-and-collect product.
