We recently hosted an important fire service training exercise at our facility, where a simulated incident allowed the fire service to respond and carry out their emergency procedures as if it were a real event. The exercise took place in our warehouse and goods yard and involved three fire engines and a team of highly trained fire service personnel. The training was carefully controlled and supervised by professionals, ensuring a safe and effective environment. The primary goal was to test the fire service's processes and verify the accuracy of the information they hold about our site and business. For us, it was also a valuable opportunity to review and strengthen our own evacuation procedures and ensure our safety protocols are up to the highest standards. Last week, our team came together for a special Cream Tea event in support of the Devon Air Ambulance. It was a wonderful afternoon filled with delicious scones, and good company—all for an incredible cause. Our Operations team recently enjoyed a productive Away Day. This event provided an excellent opportunity to connect, reflect, and strategize for the future.
