Last week, Clement Edewor (Camberwell Lettings Branch Director), Kemi Tanika Bolodeoku (Marylebone Branch Coordinator), Gabriella Kis (Regional Administration Manager), Elmast Khorozyan (Bayswater Sakes Negotiator) and Abigail Inegbenose (Highgate Branch Coordinator) all volunteered at a 3x3 basketball tournament, hosted by our charity partner, London Youth. The jam packed day, in partnership with the London Basketball Association, was held at the Copper Box Arena, at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. With over 100 participants, the volunteers helped with everything from setting up, registration, keeping score, and stewarding. Kemi Bolodeoku commented: "The London Youth basketball tournament was an incredible event. The venue was amazing and the atmosphere was buzzing from start to finish. We could see how passionate the players were about their games, and to be in an environment where young people can enjoy the sport they love, in such an iconic location was a joy to watch. We had a fantastic month celebrating Pride at KFH and wrapped it up this weekend at Pride in London with 35 KFH employees, including our senior leaders, partners, and friends. It was a great way to end the month-long celebrations, which included hearing stories from our colleagues in the LGBTQ+ community, our Tooting team sponsoring their local Furzedown Pride events, the KFH book club delving into ‘Nightcrawling’ by LGBTQ+ author Leila Mottley, and our North and Central team raising funds for London Youth!
