Tower Bridge, one of London’s most recognisable landmarks, has been a symbol of the city since it was completed in 1894. Did you know that Battersea Power Station, one of London’s most iconic landmarks, was once the largest brick building in Europe? Completed in stages between 1933 and 1955, this Art Deco masterpiece was constructed using over six million bricks and provided up to 20% of London’s electricity at its peak, powering landmarks like Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament. Fast forward to today, Battersea has undergone an incredible transformation. What was once a derelict industrial site is now a vibrant community with luxury apartments, shops, and stunning riverside views. It’s a perfect blend of history and modern living.
