🗣️ Yesterday, we welcomed HR professionals to the Cardiff office for our Workplace Ethics and Culture conference. Louise Price, Head of Employment and HR Services team, hosted the event. During it, we heard from experts on a range of topics, including workplace culture change, the use of AI, managing conflicting ethical values, and the neuroscience behind workplace interactions. The day also included performance breath training, workshops on psychological safety, and a Q&A with the experts. 🌟 We want to say a huge thank you to all the speakers and hope everyone had an informative day.🌟

🐱 Our family team recently used one of their CSR days volunteering with Cats Protection in Bridgend. They got stuck in washing the cats, cleaning out their enclosures, and helping paint the outside of the centre. 🌟 Thank you to the staff and volunteers. We are delighted to have started receiving offers in line with the agreement we negotiated with the Ministry of Defence on behalf of our clients. Last month, we confirmed that we had reached a landmark settlement with the MoD in which the MoD agreed to drop several legal defences for clients of Hugh James that have delayed military personnel from securing compensation in hearing loss claims for decades. As part of the agreement, the MoD will no longer raise a number of common defences in claims brought by Hugh James, including that it did not owe a duty of care to claimants, that the claims are being brought out of time, and that the claimants were not exposed to enough noise. 🔗 Find out more here: https://bit.ly/3XoG4Ll
