Happy Friday LinkedIn! We wanted to end this week on a positive note by sharing some facts we learnt at the Media Research Group (MRG)'s July Content sessions. Mindshare shared their latest findings from their 'Reality Check' study, and generally, the UK population are more positive about their future than they were this time last year. Now, this isn't to say the whole country is carefree, but it's good to know that positivity and hopefulness are on the rise. You can check out Mindshare's full study here - https://lnkd.in/dmiXu3Ss

Did you know Paddington Bear is turning 66 years old this year? Personally, we don't think he looks a day over 40. And not long after his 66th birthday (which is October 13th for anyone looking to celebrate) the release of his third live action blockbuster will be out in cinemas - Paddington In Peru! In honour of the upcoming film, we have made Paddington the focus of our next top trump, and as you can see, he's received a glowing review. The first two films were smash hits, and Paddington has certainly done a lot in his adventures so far - survived a taxidermist, successfully escaped from prison and even met the queen, so we can't want to see what he gets up to next. Paddington in Peru is out in cinemas November 8th.

YouTube is big with young audiences - fact. It is therefore no surprise that YouTube has begun to have a transformative effect on the expectations that young people have towards the content they view. Kids still expect high quality and big budget, but they want informality from the people and content that they watch. A key example of this is Inside, a new reality television show that was released exclusively on the Sidemen YouTube channel this June. The seven episode run has racked up millions of views, and gives traditional reality shows a run for its money. So how much is this going to affect the television landscape as we know it now? Check out our monthly newsletter to find out! You can do that by clicking the link here ➡ https://lnkd.in/eQpuVdJi
