On #InternationalDayofCharity, we want to celebrate the positive impact our charity partners are having to provide access to opportunities to people around the world. Last year, we spent over 2% of our profits on our Community Impact Programme, which allowed us to support over 350 charities globally. Though our charity partnerships with organisations including Save the Children UK and Coach Core Foundation we have been able to support more than 400,000 beneficiaries, helping to make a real difference in the communities which we live and work. At Collinson we have been busy supporting our global communities over the past couple of months: Our West Sussex charity partner FareShare UK is an organization that aims to reduce food waste and carbon emissions by rescuing surplus food from the food industry and redistributing it to local charities that support people in our communities. This summer several team members from our Haywards Heath office have spent time volunteering at the warehouse food distribution centre in Brighton. Since are partnership with FareShare started in May 2023, Collinson have volunteered 127 hours, which has help deliver 11,182 meals within the local community. Collinson Group-Americas, Dallas office, hosted a team volunteering event, partnering with Foster Love. Our people constructed, decorated & filled SuperHero Boxes for the community's children in foster care. Two very enthusiastic Collinson teams volunteered from our London office & competed at Coach Core Foundation annual fundraising event held at the Wimbledon Football Stadium in London. The event raised over £13.5k helping our charity partner Coach Core to continue delivering inclusive and impactful sports coaching apprenticeships that develops the talents of young people who traditionally may experience barriers, discrimination, and lack of opportunities.
