We recently had a very successful day in Newark! ☀️ Our team installed 440m of 355mm rising main, complete with 2 air valves and 1 washout. They then completed hydrostatic pressure testing, ensuring everything met the required standards. Harty and Leysdown Pumping Station The first of two new replacement screw pumps being lifted into place at Harty and Leysdown pumping station on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent on behalf of the Lower Medway Internal Drainage Board. The pump screws are being housed in a pre-cast concrete support structure to minimise the cast in-situ works and pump outage period. We are working in close coordination with Stantec and Aquatic Control Engineering to ensure the tight programme is achieved. #civilengineering #pumpingstation #sheppey

📍Newark SLR, Nottinghamshire A significant milestone has been reached on the Flood Alleviation Bridge (FAB), with the successful landing and placement of the PCC U-Beams. The team has been actively progressing on the Bishop's Stortford North project for the BISHOP'S STORTFORD NORTH CONSORTIUM LIMITED. A recent drone flight over the site provided an updated view of the ongoing work. Key developments include: - Bridge Construction: A new bridge has been successfully completed, spanning a greenway footpath and watercourse. - Attenuation Basins: Two lined attenuation basins have been constructed, featuring gabion basket waffle walls. These walls are designed to aid in filtration and help regulate water flow. - Main Entrance & Access Road: The main entrance to the site is approaching completion. Additionally, the access road from the A120 is nearing completion. - Toucan Crossing: Preparation work for a new toucan crossing has been completed, ensuring safe access for pedestrians and cyclists. #civilengineering #bishopsstortford
