This Wednesday, we marked the one-year anniversary of LONDON BIO – a forum that has quickly become a hub for the sharpest minds in biotech to share war stories, debate the challenges of biotech development and explore cutting-edge innovations. We welcomed keynote speakers Emma Tinsley (CEO, Weatherden) and Dr. Edwin Moses (Chairman, LabGenius) who spoke with aplomb. Interviewed by Jack O’Meara co-founder of Ochre Bio and Dr. James Field, CEO LabGenius respectively, our speakers shared witty anecdotes alongside insights into deeply tricky decisions. We left the night inspired, knowing that we’re not just talking about the future of biotech – we’re actively building it. See the blog coming out next week to dissect more about the evening. 🔬 Every quarter we gather 80 techbio and life sciences practitioners from across London, Oxford, and Cambridge to share ideas, connect, and push the boundaries of innovation. Co-founded by Alex Brunicki, Yasmin Siraj from BACKED and Jack O'Meara, founder of Ochre Bio to serve the capital’s biotech need for a close community. A huge thanks to our sponsors, Amazon Web Services (AWS) (Patricia Suhrcke, Natalie Holman-Shepherd), HSBC Innovation Banking (Davide Bommarito, Ph.D., Emily Pilkington), and Dawn Capital (Samuel Jervier) for helping make this event possible. And of course, a special shoutout to all the attendees for contributing to such an insightful and exciting evening. We're already looking forward to the next edition of LONDON BIO where we’ll continue to push the conversation forward in this ever-evolving field. #LONDONBIO #Biotech #TechBio #Innovation #BACKEDVC
