Now I'm over my post-Olympic depression, I have news which is just as exciting as gold medals and just as active as people running very, very quickly... 👀 I can announce that... We have officially launched 'The Body Coach: Extraordinary People' podcast with Joe Wicks - it is LIVE and (of course) CHARTING 💥 🤠 To be honest, you've probably seen it already because this post is chronically delayed (due to me being totally obsessed with the Olympics) but that is not to take away from what a phenomenal podcast it is and the launch it had. 😌 You couldn't log on to Apple Podcasts over the last few weeks without seeing us all over the flow case and sitting nicely at the top of the charts. This is *not* your run-of-the-mill lineup of celebrities... Joe's guests are everyday people who have overcome incredibly tough times, with fitness. As it says on the tin, they are all extraordinary. 💙 Joe is on a mission to motivate YOU. To inspire you to move and feel better because if these people can do it, so can you. So if you need a dose of motivation, listen here: https://lnkd.in/eNYjX7dR Lastly, an enormous thank you to team at The Body Coach. Joe Wicks, Nikki Wicks and Amy Packham, you are truly unrivalled - thank you for trusting myself, Abi Gibson, Molly Sainty and Lauren Howie at Astrid Productions, we have loved every second. 🙏

This is how we doubled the Closet Confessions podcast downloads overnight 📈 It’s really not so hard. It was…. 🥁 ……A viral TikTok. I can sense your disappointment, you were hoping it would be something less… obvious, more… out of the box? Well, sometimes you just have to do the obvious thing really well. 🤷 🍕It’s like a *really* good margherita pizza - minimal and overlooked but when done well it’s NEXT LEVEL (especially at Rudy's Pizza Napoletana imo). So actually, it wasn’t just the TikTok. The TikTok is a byproduct of a simple and effective format that we’ve spent time refining - making our clips 🔥🔥 Let’s stop overcomplicating things - I think we do it to prove our worth or flaunt the depths of our skill - but really, it’s the simple stuff done well that really has an impact. ✨ 🎙️S5 is back sooner than you think…. https://lnkd.in/eSvRUnj2

This is the biggest mistake early-stage founders make 👀 ANALYSIS PARALYSIS. 😫 I get it, it boils down to being afraid to take risks. A huge part of running a business - but it's slowing you down 🐢 . I must admit, these words aren't mine, they're Connie Nam's. Connie is the founder of the global, cult jewellery brand Astrid & Miyu. 💍 She started the brand in her apartment, which then became a pop-up in a Notting Hill shop, and has now become a household name brand with over 20 stores across the world... Connie shared this advice and how to combat overanalysis, in her podcast UNBOXED. She speaks to entrepreneurs such as Nails.INC's Thea Green, NEOM's Nicola Elliott, and Grind's David Abrahamovitch but this week she was speaking to....me. I'm usually behind the scenes as my company, Astrid Productions produces UNBOXED but this week, I was hosting... quizzing Connie on making mistakes, raising investment, taking risks, hiring, and scaling. I left no stone unturned so if you are looking for business guidance - start with this episode and then choose another, literally any of them. 💻 https://lnkd.in/e3xtWwPD #business #womeninbusiness #advice #earlystagefounders #startup #branding

HAPPY 3 YEAR ANNIVERSARY Abi Gibson ❤️ You are the best producer, let’s celebrate 💫

Let me indulge in a little flashback…. 😭 💫 It’s 8th February 2021, the world is on fire, Astrid was 4 months old and the ‘office’ is literally a keyboard stand with a shelf laid on top… AND it was Abi Gibson, my first employee’s, first day. Happy 3 year anniversary!!! It feels like lifetime ago and 5 minutes ago all at the same time but upon reflection LOOK HOW FAR WE’VE COME 🥹 ✅ Producing podcasts with clients that we truly align with, that amplify female voices. ✅ Offices in both Manchester and London. ✅ A supportive, kind and uplifting all-female team. ✅ Our first Astrid original podcast, The Listen. I cannot stress how important it is getting your first employee right - Abi has been incremental in the development of Astrid, our team and our clients. I can’t thank you enough for all of your hard work Abi ❤️ So for now, if you want a podcast and want to work with this total angel, get in touch. I can’t wait to reveal what’s next 👀🙏🏼
