🌍 International Day of Charity 🌍 Yesterday, our team came together to support Hackney Foodbank, a vital community resource making a difference locally. We're raising funds to purchase groceries that will be delivered directly to the foodbank, providing much-needed support to those in our community. Demand for Hackney Foodbank has increased by 42% in the past 12 months. The charity is currently supporting an average of 650 people per week and distributing around £40,000 worth of food every month. The number of people aged over 65 needing support has doubled, as has the number of children supported. My day to day involves speaking to people in the space and finding the right position for the individual, based upon their needs. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁?  My advice would be that it is a great fit for someone who enjoys speaking to people. You might start off with no knowledge of recruitment, but once you dive in, you could discover a hidden talent you never knew you had. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?  I enjoy playing the saxophone & piano, as well as playing Sunday League football on the weekend.
