Local artist Nathan Wyburn has unveiled a stunning tribute at The Bevan Health & Wellbeing Centre in Tredegar. His new masterpiece, a portrait of NHS founder Aneurin Bevan, beautifully captures Tredegar’s rich history. Nathan also crafted a steel rose sculpture for the wellbeing garden, symbolising the NHS’s roots in the region’s industrial past. Proud of his work, Nathan said, "As a local boy, it's an honour to contribute to this centre, and I hope these works positively impact everyone who visits." The Integrated Wellbeing Network, in partnership with Newport City Council are looking to gather views on women and girl’s health through a Women’s Health Survey. 51% of the population of Newport is female 1 in 5 are from BAME communities “Inequalities in health outcomes exist between both men and women and between different groups of women in Wales” (Women’s Health in Wales, 2022) The views of all females across Newport are incredibly important to us to help shape the way we plan and deliver services and the way we work alongside community groups and organisations, to help women and girls across the city.
